DESCRIPTION OF WORK As a Clerical Assistant 3 you will be responsible for providing help desk services related to the Electronic Lien and Title (ELT) program, and the National Motor Vehicle Title Information System (NMVTIS).  You will initiate and take calls from help desk personnel in other states, ELT service provider help desk personnel, business partners, lienholders and PennDOT work units, to resolve discrepancies with vehicle title records.  Frequent email communication is also necessary.  Utilizing the PA Vehicle Code, CARATS system records, PennDOT policies, procedures, personal interviews, statements, and other documentation, you will determine the accuracy of vehicle title, registration, and person with disability parking placard records, make decisions related to such records and any products issued, perform record maintenance, and provide information to customers and partners. Additional duties involve reviewing data from various ELT-related reports to determine if PA vehicle titles were issued in accordance with requirements of the ELT Program, transaction processing, maintaining accurate work logs and files within the unit, and proofreading and mailing correspondence.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

Full-time employment, 75 hours bi-weekly Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 60-minute lunch. Salary:In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

One year as a Clerical Assistant 2 (commonwealth title); or One year of moderately complex clerical experience; or An equivalent combination of experience and training. Additional Requirements:
