Technical Principal Product Manager, Performance Advertising

Analytics and Data Management owns delivering Spektr: “always-on analytics” platform for Advertising needs that is fully scalable and reliable. Our products are strategically important to our leadership, finance, economists, analysts, machine learning scientists, SDEs and BI partners to drive long-term growth. Key job responsibilities

You will be responsible for the competitive research, managing go-to-market strategy, guiding product roadmap, driving customer adoption and building cross-functional product alignment for Spektr with other Amazon Advertising groups. In this role, you will be required to show high bias for action, willingness to dive deep into complex problem areas to deliver high scale impact at fast-pace. This role also requires you to constantly think big in highly ambiguous environment and collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders to deliver transformational outcomes. You should be willing to get your hands dirty, try new ideas take effective data-driven decisions working backwards from customers. Specific skills we are looking for:

Ability to get a lot done in a startup environment with a mix of ambiguity and opportunity

Fluency in working with technology and digital media

Exceptional ability to analyze and interpret large amounts of data in order to make recommendations for improvement

Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, solve problems, scope technical requirements and prioritize project work

Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills

Ability to think strategically and act tactically

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience

  • 8+ years of technical product or program management experience

  • Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product

  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

  • Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product

  • Experience technical product management

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements

  • Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
